The Charter for the E46 M3 Special Interest Group (SIG) provides
the guidelines for members, regarding the purpose of the SIG and the interaction on the List. The
purpose of the SIG is to create community for E46 M3 owners, facilitating an environment where people
can exchange information and build friendship. The goal of the SIG is to extend the pleasure
of owning an E46 M3 well beyond the time spent behind the wheel. The focus of this group is on technical
issues, driving events, maintenance, purchase and performance modification.
Posting guidelines for the List:
- Content of e-mails must specifically pertain to E46 M3's. This may include
car preparation, performance modifications, maintenance, and sale. Conversely, for example,
a post to sell a 528i has nothing to do with this SIG and should not be posted to the List.
- e-mails which contain personal attacks are strictly prohibited.
- Private sales of E46 M3's,related parts and accessories is allowed.
- One-liners with no substantial content should be sent to individuals and not posted to the List.
- Private messages posted to a receiver may not be posted to the SIG by the receiver unless the sender
has approved it. This is standard Internet etiquette.
- Items for sale in locations other than the SIG may not be posted to the SIG. We all know eBay is there.
- Commercial postings are strictly forbidden. This includes posting URL's of commercial businesses
or individuals acting as businesses. For more details, please
click here. If your business is interested in commercial
exposure, please contact Filippo Morelli.
We ardently protect our Sponsor's visibility to the membership in return for their support.
Should a member disregard the Charter guidelines, they will be initially placed in read only
mode for 2 weeks and not be allowed to post. If a member continues to disregard the Charter guidelines, they
may lose their membership to the SIG. While the last thing we wish to have are problems with
our members, the focus of this Charter is to maintain a high quality, amicable and communicative environment.
Actions to the contrary are typically not well received either by the membership or by the Administrator.
